About

founder

Anne Scott founded Girl Gone International in 2010 and grew it into one of the world’s largest online-to-offline communities for women living internationally.

Today, GGI connects around one million women through hundreds of local communities, more than 1,000 volunteers and thousands of real-life events each year.

Building GGI has meant learning, in real time, what makes people move from watching to showing up, from attending once to returning, and from consuming to contributing.

It is the foundation of Anne’s work today: helping organisations turn audiences, customers, teams and communities into active participants.

Founded 2010 · 1M+ members · 300+ local communities · 1,000+ volunteers · 8,000 events annually

The Things AI Cannot Replace

Why friendship, trust and being truly seen will matter more than ever in the world we are building.

A hopeful keynote about protecting the human parts of life: real conversation, friendship, shared experience and the confidence that comes from knowing you do not have to do everything alone.

The Women Who Change Your Life

A warm, funny and honest keynote about the women we meet when we are starting over, building a career, moving somewhere new or trying to become more ourselves. It is about putting yourself in the room, making the first move and creating the kind of friendships and networks that genuinely carry you further.

Move People

'How to Turn Passive Audiences into Active Communities'

A warm, funny and practical keynote about what makes people show up, join in, come back and bring others with them. It is about moving beyond follower counts, email lists and busy rooms to create the kind of connection that builds trust, loyalty and real momentum, whether you are leading a team, building a brand or bringing a community together.

One Way Ticket

A warm, funny and honest keynote about the women who go beyond vacations and discover a new way to travel. About women who leave familiar lives behind to build a future somewhere new. It is about the courage to go, the messy reality after you arrive, and the friendships, confidence and sense of home we create when we give ourselves permission to build a bigger life.
